The foundation of the Dağıstanlı group, one of the pioneers of Turkish commercial life, was laid in 1917 in Erzurum on Cumhuriyet Avenue, then known as Tebriz Kapı Avenue, by Dursun Usta, son of Mustafa, a Dagestani immigrant from Russia.

Since the first years of the Republic, Dağıstanlı has contributed to the country's development by pioneering the construction of wooden buildings for state institutions, and later transitioning to reinforced concrete and steel structures, leading the way in Construction and the Restoration of historical monuments.

After the Second World War, with the arrival of foreign investors in Turkey, the company started to build industrial factory buildings. During the factory installation process, in response to customer demand and the supply from foreign machinery and equipment manufacturers in the Turkish market, Dağıstanlı entered the import business as a distributor and dealer. Subsequently, prioritizing its localization policy, it began to have many of the imported products produced within Turkey through agreements with domestic manufacturers. Following a radical decision by Dursun Usta's sons, Garip and Kemal Kardeş, Dağıstanlı ŞÜREKASI relocated to Istanbul in 1968, to the large commercial market that exists today in the Beşiktaş district,

and after Dağıstanlı Dursun Usta VE ŞÜREKASI started its operations on this street, it began to flourish, taking its present form by continuing its activities under the name “Dağıstanlı İnşaat Makina San Ve Tic. A.Ş.” since 1985. Today, within the Dağıstanlı Group, with its companies Dağıstanlı Architecture, Esa manufacturing machinery, Dağıstanlı professional, Thl Kaizen, and Ettiket, it continues its activities for state institutions and industrial factories, utilizing innovative technologies and a wide dealer, distributorship, and agency network for many products such as Technical and qualified Hardware, Power Tools, Tool and workbenches, and marine engines.
